"Red Tent Doula" serves Clackamas County and the greater Portland area.

Our Doulas attend home births, water births, birth center births and hospital births. We provide hands on birth/postpartum support, prenatal/postpartum counseling, PMD (Depression) screens , childbirth education, lactation support, placenta encapsulations, infant massage instruction and prenatal and postpartum yoga classes.
 

~Our Doulas are devoted to serve all mothers regardless of age, income and experience. We can offer sliding scale fees and payment plans to those that are in need. Please contact us for more information. We are happy to meet with you, at no cost, to discuss your pregnancy and birth plans.

                        Meet Courtney Piper, B.A., Doula.

Ms. Piper is a skilled birth and post postpartum Doula,

having trained at the Birthingway College of Midwifery

in Portland, Oregon. She completed six months of midwifery

apprenticeship with Kelli McIntosh,CPM in Portland OR. 

Courtney also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in counseling

psychology and performing arts from

The Evergreen State College and is a trained facilitator. 

Ms. Piper took advanced studies in yoga and dance at the

prestigious dance academy, Nrityagram, in Bangalore India, 

where she lived and studied for many months.​

 

Courtney runs Oregon City Movement Arts. OCMA​ serves

prenatal/postpartum clients, children, as well as the community at large with healing and creative movement art classes. Ms. Piper began her career in women's health, as an educator for Planned Parenthood of Western Washington and then continued to serve women and families as a social worker for the state of Oregon. She has passionately advocated for women and families for 15 years and loves serving her clients. Her life is rich with family fun, yoga, cooking, hiking, volunteering, dancing and life long learning. Courtney lives in Oregon City, Oregon with her two children, Maxwell and Josephine.
